WRITER | DIRECTOR

Ann Arbor is an upcoming narrative feature film that explores the nuances of the Asian American experience, second chances, the weight of parental expectations and the burden of caretaking. The film asks whether some connections, like certain places, hold a timeless resonance, and if it's ever too late to rewrite our own stories.

Hi, I'm Trevor.I'm a writer and director based in LA, and I got into all of this because of a dare.A friend dragged me to a IBM commercial casting call as a joke. I ended up as one of their "real" people and said one word: trains. I'm on screen for less than a second. Here it is if you’re curious:

Being on set sparked something. So I pursued acting and booked a handful of TV shows and films. After a few years I realized I had my own stories to tell, so I started writing and directing. That was 15 years ago.Since then I've made several short films and won some awards along the way. Right now I'm working on my first feature, Ann Arbor, about what it means to be 35 years into an immigration.
